Banerjee Bajaj is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to oversee and manage the complete accounting operations of the dealership. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in automobile dealership accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial processes with accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations of the dealership.
Maintain and update all financial records, ledgers, and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax and ensure timely filings and compliance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation of bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
Manage cash flow, fund management, and budgeting activities.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company financial policies.
Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of experience
as an Accountant, preferably in the
Automobile Industry
.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, DMS, Excel, etc.).
Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
