Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger by accurately entering financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
2. Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate client invoicing.
3. Reconcile bank statements, identify discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
4. Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
5. Assist in monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
6. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
7. Prepare, review, and file GST returns in a timely manner.
8. Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including documentation, filing, and data entry.
