Job Description

1.Day to Day Accounting



- Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipt, and payments.

- Maintain a cash book, bank, and ledgers.

- Daily/weekly bank reconcilation.

2.GST & TAX Compliance



- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

- Maintain input tax credit (ITC) records.

- Handle TDS,advance tax, and Income Tax returns.

- Coordinate during GST or Tax audit.

3.Billing & Invoices



- Prepared sales invoices.

- Verify purchase bill from suppliers

- Ensure correct GST rates and HSN codes.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable



- Track supplier payments and due dates.

- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments.

- Prepare aging reports.

5. Payroll & Statutory Deductions



-Prepare salary sheets.

- Calculate and deposit PF, ESI, Professional Tax.

- Maintain employee records.

6. Costing & Expense Control



-Monitor production/service costs.

- Track overhead expenses.

- Helper management in cost reduction.

7. Financial Statements & Reports



-Prepare profit & Loss, Balance sheet, and cash Flow.

-Monthly and yearly financial report.

-Support management decisions.

8. MSME-Specific Compliance



- Maintain Udyom Registration details.

- Handle MSME payment compliance (45-day payment rule).

-Support for government schemes, subsidies, and loans.

9. Audit & Documentation



-Support statutory, internal, and tax audit.

-Maintain vouchers, bill, and records (physical & digital).

10. Coordinate & Advisory Role



-Coordinate with CA, bank, vendors, and government offices.

- Advise owners on cash flow, tax saving, and compliance.

Qualifications:



-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (e.g., B.Com, BBA in Finance).

Minimum Previous Experience:



Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment. Experience in cost accounting, tax compliance, and inventory tracking is highly desirable.

Other Skills



Accounting Knowledge-:



Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS). Financial reporting and bookkeeping.

Attention to Detail-:



Accurate data entry and transaction recording. Identifying errors and discrepancies.

Technical Skills-:



Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP). Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).

Taxation Knowledge-:



Understanding GST, VAT, TDS, and other tax laws. Filing tax returns and compliance.

Problem-Solving-:



Resolving financial discrepancies. Handling audits and compliance issues.

Organizational Skills-:



-Maintaining proper records and documentation.

Systematic filing and retrieval of financial data.
