Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Management
Record daily accounting entries in Tally, Excel, Busy software or ERP systems.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.
Update and reconcile vendor and customer ledgers to ensure accuracy.
Banking & Cash Handling
Assist in bank reconciliations and manage petty cash transactions.
Monitor daily fund movements and ensure timely updates in the accounts register.
Compliance & Taxation
Prepare and file monthly GST returns and ensure compliance with multi-state GST regulations.
Handle TDS computation, filing, and coordinate compliance with ROC and statutory requirements.
Prepare GST reconciliation statements and generate E-invoices through the GST portal.
Monthly Closing & Reporting
Support the senior accountant with monthly closing activities, financial summaries, and reporting.
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Track and report monthly expenses in coordination with internal teams.
Documentation & Audit Support
File and organize accounting records, vouchers, and financial documents (physical and digital).
Assist during internal and external audits by providing reconciled data and supporting documents.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com).
1-3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance.
Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, MS Word, and Busy software, Zoho.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
