Key Responsibilities
Maintain
daily books of accounts
, including cash, bank, and journal entries
Record and track
site expenses, labour payments, material purchases
, and subcontractor bills
Handle
vendor invoices
, payment scheduling, and reconciliation
Prepare
GST returns
(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure statutory compliance
Manage
TDS entries, deductions, and filings
Assist in
project-wise cost tracking and budgeting
Prepare
monthly financial reports
, MIS, and expense summaries for management
Coordinate with
CA / auditors
for audits, filings, and compliance
Maintain proper documentation for
purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and payments
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce / Accounting / Finance
2-5 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of
GST, TDS, basic compliance
Experience with
Tally / accounting software
Proficient in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
Understanding of
construction costing, BOQs, and site expenses
Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Preferred (Good to Have)
Prior experience in
construction / real estate accounting
Knowledge of
labour laws and payroll
Ability to handle
multiple project accounts
