Accountant Duties and Responsibilities



An accountant helps manage a company's finances by keeping track of all money coming in and going out. They make sure every transaction is recorded correctly and matches the right account. Their main job is to prepare financial reports that help the company understand how it is doing financially.

They create important documents like:

Profit and loss statements Balance sheets
They also:

Review income and spending to plan future budgets Check and match account records (reconciliation) Guide and supervise junior accounting staff
Other key responsibilities include:

Calculating and filing taxes properly Checking financial documents for accuracy and keeping them confidential Suggesting ways to improve financial systems and policies Managing payments and keeping accounting software updated Keeping financial data secure and creating backups when needed Fixing any errors found in financial records Reviewing and improving accounting software and procedures Preparing and reviewing year-end financial reports
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
