The Accountant cum Store Keeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also managing inventory, materials, and store operations. The role requires coordination between accounts, procurement, and operations to ensure proper stock control and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain stock registers for materials, tools, and consumables.
Record inward and outward movement of materials.
Verify quantity and quality of materials received.
Issue materials as per approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and inform management for re-ordering.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
Maintain proper documentation for purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
Ensure safe storage and proper labelling of materials.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting or equivalent.
Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar).
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
