Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Accountant cum Inventory Manager

to handle financial accounting and end-to-end inventory control in a jewellery manufacturing environment. The role involves managing books of accounts, precious metal inventory, job work tracking, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and final accounts Handle accounts payable and receivable Manage bank reconciliation statements Manage job work accounting and cost allocation Maintain proper documentation for purchases, sales, and job work

Inventory & Stock Management Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records of

gold, diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewellery

Track

inward/outward movement

of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Monitor

metal purity, weight, wastage, recovery, and losses

Maintain records for

melting, casting, polishing, and manufacturing processes

Track job work issued to karigars and ensure timely return Conduct

regular physical stock verification

and reconcile with system records Monitor

metal balances (fine gold)

and ensure accurate reporting Identify slow-moving, dead stock, or discrepancies and report to management Ensure strong internal controls to prevent pilferage or loss
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance Strong knowledge of

jewellery accounting and inventory processes

Experience with

jewellery ERP/software

(e.g., Tally with inventory, JewelIT or similar) Good understanding of

GST in jewellery trade

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation) High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality Strong analytical and coordination skills
Experience

Minimum

3-7 years

of experience in

jewellery manufacturing or jewellery trading

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
