Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions of the academy.
Manage student fee collection, receipt issuance, and fee follow-ups.
Record and reconcile petty cash, bank transactions, and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly financial statements, expense reports, and budget summaries.
Handle staff payroll, attendance-based payments, and statutory deductions.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure proper documentation for audits.
Maintain accounts for purchases, vendor payments, and service providers.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and academy policies.
Administrative Responsibilities
Manage the front desk operations including student inquiries, admissions documentation, and record maintenance.
Maintain student databases, attendance records, and academic files.
Handle communication with parents, students, and staff through emails, calls, and notices.
Prepare administrative reports, circulars, and communication letters.
Manage office supplies, classroom materials, and vendor coordination.
Support scheduling of classes, exams, events, and meetings.
Assist HR tasks including staff attendance, leave records, and onboarding files.
Ensure smooth daily operations of the academy.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
Experience working in a school/academy/training institute (preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/ERP) and MS Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of fee management systems or ERP for educational institutions.
Experience in handling parent/student communication.
Familiarity with basic HR processes.
