Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Accountant

to handle complete accounting operations for our steel industry business. The candidate should have strong experience in managing day-to-day accounts, billing, taxation, and financial records, preferably within the steel or trading industry.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily books of accounts including cash, bank, sales, and purchase entries Handle billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts Maintain records of inward and outward steel material transactions Manage GST-related entries, returns, and documentation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) Perform bank reconciliation and monitor receivables and payables Maintain ledger accounts, expense tracking, and customer/vendor records Support audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements Coordinate with management for accurate financial reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Com or equivalent qualification preferred Strong working knowledge of

Tally/accounting software

and

MS Excel

Good understanding of

GST and basic taxation

Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in the

steel industry / Loha Bazar / trading environment

will be an added advantage
