Maintain day-to-day accounts including sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage accounts receivable/payable and reconcile bank statements.
Jewellery-Specific Accounting
Track inventory of gold, silver, diamonds, and finished jewellery.
Calculate product costing including making charges, wastage, and margins.
Reconcile showroom, workshop, and warehouse stock.
Taxation & Compliance
File GST/VAT returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Handle import/export documentation for raw materials and finished goods.
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Provide profitability reports by product line.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Advise management on cost control and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
4-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail, manufacturing, or jewellery industry.
Strong knowledge of GST/TDS and inventory accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ORNATE).
High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
