We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for a reputed steel firm based in Samta Colony, Raipur. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with preference given to candidates from the steel or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
Handle daily accounting activities such as billing, invoicing, payments, and receipts.
Prepare and verify financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of reports.
Support management in financial planning and cost control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.com) or higher.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (steel industry preferred).
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

25,000 - 28,000 per month (depending on experience and capability).
