Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

o Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.

o Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

o Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.

2. General Ledger Management:

o Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.

o Prepare and post journal entries.

o Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.

3. Financial Reporting:

o Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

o Support the creation of financial statements and other relevant reports for management review.

o Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting:

o Support the budgeting process by gathering and analyzing financial data.

o Assist in preparing budget reports and forecasts.

5. Vendor and Third-Party Liaison:

o Liaise with vendors and third parties on various aspects such as banking, auditing, and procurements.

o Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

o Ensure timely and accurate communication with all external partners.

6. Audit Support:

o Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for external and internal audits.

o Support the audit process by providing necessary information and resolving any queries.

7. Process Improvement:

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

o Stay updated on industry best practices and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to accounting and finance.

Pay: ?8,538.96 - ?30,000.00 per month
