Job Description

Rishav Jain & Associates is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing firm. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the firm's tax and compliance functions. Key Responsibilities

:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, invoices, and receipts. Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance filings. Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts. Reconcile bank statements and manage payroll accounting. Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits. Support the preparation and review of client financial reports and tax filings. Coordinate with clients for any required documentation or clarification. Assist in direct tax compliance and litigation support as required.

Key Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a CA firm. Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance regulations. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Good communication skills and a client-service mindset.
