Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals accurately. Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow). Handle accounts payable and receivable functions. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all financial data. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Ensure compliance with statutory laws, taxation, and financial regulations. Process payroll and manage employee reimbursements (if applicable). Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems for efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience

:

Entry-level: 0-1 years (Junior Accountant) Mid-level: 3-5 years (Accountant / Senior Accountant)

:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
