Position: Factory Accountant Job Summary: The factory accountant plays a crucial role in managing financial activities within the factory, including payroll processing, collections, bookkeeping, and maintaining financial records. The position requires expertise in Tally and Excel to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Payroll: Process payroll for factory employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, overtime, and benefits. Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration between payroll and personnel data. Collections: Manage accounts receivable and collections processes for the factory. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers for timely payments. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve payment-related issues. Prepare and analyze aging reports to track and manage outstanding receivables. Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Generate financial reports for management, providing insights into the factory\'s financial performance. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits. Tally and Excel: Proficiently use Tally for maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations. Utilize Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and report generation. Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for various financial functions. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an accountant in a manufacturing or factory environment. In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, collections, and bookkeeping. Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills: Familiarity with relevant accounting software and ERP systems. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
