How you might spend your days
As an Accountant (Accounts Payable), you'll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team where your daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice verification, coding, approval workflows, and payment processing.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of AP transactions, including proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement and finance teams, to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on AP and GST-related metrics for management review.
• Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, including deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and automation.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and financial analysis.

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience within Accounting area
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with expertise in accounts payable, experience handing GST and TDS compliance is a must.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements, particularly in GST and TDS.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav/ SAP, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Good knowledge in Excel
