Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and proficiency in essential software tools such as Tally, Excel, and Word. Prior experience in rice or flour mills will be preferred. This position will support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely payments and collections.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial transactions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Software Proficiency:

Tally

: Experience in using Tally for accounting and financial reporting.

Excel

: Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).

Word

: Competence in using Microsoft Word for documentation.

Basic IT Knowledge

: Ability to troubleshoot minor IT issues and manage basic office software.
