We are a progressive accounting firm in Mohali, seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team and support our client managers and partners in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base in Australia. This is a hands-on role where initiative, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of Activity Statements, Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts as per Australian Taxations.
Attend internal and external training sessions to stay updated with tax and accounting developments.
Support team members and contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment.
Help with other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
What You'll Bring
Relevant accounting degree and CA/CPA accreditation (or currently working towards completion or planning to undertake)
Minimum 2 years' experience in Australian practice accounting for Tax Returns.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Xero and MYOB.
Experience with Class/BGL is not essential but will be regarded.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach to interaction.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to priorities and meet deadlines.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and enjoys working as part of a team.
