Enter and categorize all daily financial activities, such as sales, expenses, and payments.
Compare internal records with bank statements and vendor ledgers to identify and resolve any inconsistencies.
Help management plan and control finances by developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
Measures and verifies the amount of work completed on-site, ensuring it aligns with the billed amounts. This includes reviewing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and comparing them to actual physical progress.
Evaluates interim and final payments to contractors and subcontractors to ensure they are fair and accurately reflect the work performed. This involves verifying claims and payment applications.
Assesses if the costs of materials, labor, and equipment align with the project's budget and the terms of the contract.
At the project's conclusion, prepares the final account to reconcile all project costs and ensure transparent financial closure.
Compiles detailed reports that document audit findings, including identified over-billings, billing errors, and areas for potential cost savings. These reports are presented to management and other stakeholders.
Offers value-engineering ideas and advice on cost-effective construction methods to the project management team.
