About the Company

Harish Cloth Store is a reputed wholesale cloth business committed to ethical practices, accurate financial management, and long-term growth. We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts (Cash, Bank, Ledger, Journal). Handle

GST compliance

- return filing, reconciliation, and records. Manage

sales & purchase accounting

, billing, and invoicing. Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

. Handle

bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

. Manage

creditors, debtors, and outstanding payments

. Coordinate with CA for audits, taxation, and statutory compliance. Maintain payroll records and salary processing. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality of financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce (B.Com)

or equivalent. Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as an Accountant (preferably in trading/wholesale). Strong knowledge of

GST, TDS, Income Tax basics

. Proficiency in

Tally / accounting software

and

MS Excel

. Good understanding of financial controls and compliance. High level of accuracy, integrity, and responsibility.

Preferred Qualities

Experience in cloth or trading business is an advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Long-term commitment and stability. Good communication and coordination skills.
