We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and record journal entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Preparation of year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
Provide support for audits and internal control reviews.
Prepare financial forecasts to support management in decision-making.
Track variances between actual performance and the budget, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow.
Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts.
Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and reconcile financial data
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong social skills for on-call interaction with site team, material vendors, and clients
