Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in
Accountancy
in line with the curriculum.
Teach concepts including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, financial statements, and cost accounting.
Use a variety of teaching techniques and resources to meet students' individual learning needs.
Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
Support students in preparation for board examinations, project work, and practical's.
Maintain records of students' progress and performance.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Collaborate with other faculty members in the Commerce stream (e.g., Economics, Business Studies).
Encourage analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and ethical financial practices among students.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce( M.Com), preferably with specialization in Accountancy.
B.Ed.
(mandatory as per education board requirements).
Minimum
2-5 years
of teaching experience in a reputed school.
Familiarity with
CBSE / ICSE / State Board
curriculum.
Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using digital tools for teaching and assessments.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to integrate technology into teaching (e.g., MS Excel, Tally basics, digital boards).
Experience in preparing students for board and competitive exams.
Passionate about teaching and student development.
