Job Description

The Accountancy Teacher will be responsible for teaching accounting concepts to students of classes 11-12 / undergraduate level (as applicable). The role includes planning lessons, preparing study material, assessing students' progress, and ensuring strong conceptual clarity in financial accounting and related topics.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Accountancy as per the prescribed curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, class notes, presentations, and worksheets. Explain concepts like Journal Entries, Ledger, Trial Balance, Final Accounts, Depreciation, Bank Reconciliation, Ratio Analysis, etc. Conduct regular tests and evaluate students' performance. Provide one-on-one doubt clearing sessions when required. Maintain academic records, attendance, and student progress reports. Prepare students for board exams, internal assessments, and practical exams. Coordinate with the Commerce Department for academic planning. Encourage discipline, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students. Stay updated with latest changes in syllabus and education trends.
