About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

with a strong background in the

manufacturing sector

. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations, GST compliance, costing, audits, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

Handle day-to-day accounting operations as per statutory guidelines. Prepare and maintain Books of Accounts (General Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet). Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliation, and customer outstanding tracking. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Manage GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliance. Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation). Handle income tax working and coordination with consultants. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.

3. Manufacturing-Specific Responsibilities

Cost sheet preparation and product costing analysis. Inventory accounting, stock audit coordination, and valuation. Manage consumption reports, production reports, and variance analysis. Coordination with the production, purchase, and stores departments for accurate data.

4. Audit & Reporting

Prepare financial statements and MIS reports for management review. Assist in internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure. Analyze financial data and provide insights on cost-saving opportunities.

5. Team & Coordination

Lead and guide the accounts team (for Senior Account Manager). Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, auditors, and internal departments. Ensure timely processing of payments, salary disbursements, and vendor settlements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter OR equivalent. Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in accounting within the

manufacturing industry

. Strong knowledge of

Tally ERP / SAP / any ERP system

. Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Good analytical, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
