Job Description

Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations like budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, and can also involve managing client relationships and sales, depending on the specific role. This role includes managing day-to-day transactions, analyzing financial data to support strategic decisions, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Key responsibilities

Financial management

: Manage all financial activities including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and monthly/quarterly closing.

Budgeting and forecasting

: Create and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to optimize performance.

Compliance and reporting

: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements. Prepare and file tax reports and government reports.

Analysis and strategy

: Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making for the company.

Client relationship management

: (In a sales-focused role) Manage relationships with existing customers, identify their needs, and focus on retention, upselling, and cross-selling.

Internal coordination

: Collaborate with other departments (like sales and operations) to ensure financial goals are met.

Audit support

: Assist with both internal and external audits.

Process improvement

: Streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Required skills and qualifications

Degree in accounting or finance. Strong understanding of financial management principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with financial and accounting software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
