To lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international financial regulations, and efficient handling of export-related finance operations. The Accounts Manager will oversee all financial transactions, coordinate audits, manage taxation, and ensure smooth financial operations across multiple markets including the UK, Italy, and Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Manage export-related financial documentation including LC (Letter of Credit), Bill of Lading, export invoices, and foreign exchange management.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
Ensure statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other local/international regulations.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support business strategy.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external agencies.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and export departments to track costing and profitability.
Monitor and manage inventory valuation and cost accounting.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
Evaluate and optimize financial systems, accounting software, and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/ICWA/MBA Finance preferred.
5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing/export sector.
Strong understanding of international trade finance and export documentation.
Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting software.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and hedging.
