The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, managing budgets, handling client/vendor accounts, and ensuring financial compliance. This role plays a key part in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support the overall objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Oversee budget planning, expense tracking, and forecasting.
Handle client or departmental queries related to accounts and payments.
Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Manage vendor payments, salary disbursement, and petty cash accounts.
Reconcile discrepancies in reports and identify errors for correction.
Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for financial clarity.
Support management in decision-making with financial insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field (CA/ICWA/MBA preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and statutory compliance (TDS, GST, etc.).
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
