The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. With two decades of proven experience, this role requires a strategic thinker who can balance client needs with company objectives, mentor junior team members, and contribute to long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for major client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent communication.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and retention goals.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, and operations) to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor account performance metrics and prepare regular business reviews and performance reports.
Resolve client issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Mentor and guide junior account managers and account executives.
Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate client needs and market shifts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
20 - 25 years of progressive account management or client relationship experience.
Proven track record of managing large, strategic accounts and achieving revenue goals.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
