1. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
2. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity.
General Ledger Management:
3. Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and post journal entries as required.
Payroll Management:
4. Oversee the payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax filings.
Address and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
5. Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
