Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager - Finance
to oversee accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting, audit coordination, taxation (direct & indirect), and process improvement. The role demands strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage end-to-end finance functions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
Manage day-to-day accounting, general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Asset Accounting.
Maintain accurate and compliant financial records and ledgers.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
Ensure timely filing of
GST, TDS, and Income Tax
returns.
Liaise with consultants and auditors for compliance under Companies Act, PF/ESIC, and ROC filings.
Conduct internal compliance checks and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory norms.
3. Audit & Financial Finalization
Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits.
Prepare schedules, ledgers, and working papers for audit purposes.
Support audit closure with complete documentation and reconciliations.
4. Management Reporting & MIS
Prepare and analyze
MIS reports
, dashboards, and variance reports.
Support management in decision-making through regular reporting and data insights.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
5. Procurement to Pay (P2P) & Stock Reporting
Manage the entire P2P process including purchase orders, invoice validation, and vendor payments.
Monitor and reconcile stock statements, valuations, and ageing reports.
Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for accurate reporting.
6. Team Management
Supervise and train junior accountants and finance executives.
Allocate tasks, review work, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Key Skills Required
Strong knowledge of
Accounting Standards, IND-AS, GST, and Income Tax
.
Proficiency in
Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9, Zoho Books, Odoo, and MS Excel
.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
or equivalent.
CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / CMA etc
preferred.
Preferred Experience
Minimum
4-6 years
of experience in accounting, audit, and taxation.
Prior experience in a
CA firm or corporate finance department
preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
