Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Account Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning within a fast-paced trading or marine industry environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-spectrum accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and tax compliance.
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow, and budgeting forecasts.
Monitor and improve internal control systems and ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, etc.).
Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities for audits, funding, and compliance matters.
Supervise the accounting team and support ERP/accounting software transitions or upgrades.
Drive financial strategy, cost control, and profitability analysis to support business growth.
Liaise with other departments to provide financial insights and strategic input.
Maintain accurate documentation and records as per accounting standards and company policy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter/MBA Finance preferred.
10-15 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, income tax, and ROC compliance.
Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in marine spare parts trading or logistics (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
