Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Prepare and analyze branch financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
Reconcile bank statements and handle re-pledge-related activities.
Assist in auditing processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
Support branch teams with daily report tallying and resolving discrepancies.
Oversee the implementation of operational best practices within the accounting team.
Provide financial insights to enhance branch performance and meet targets.
File GST returns accurately and on time
Reconcile GST input/output and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and file income tax returns for the company.
Ensure TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance and timely filing of TDS returns.
Manage tax audits and respond to notices or inquiries
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or financial management (preferably in the gold loan or banking industry).
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory and tax compliance in financial operations.
