The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, taxation, and ledger management. This role requires handling end-to-end accounting functions, supervising junior staff, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and other statutory compliance.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
Oversee invoice preparation, vendor payments, and customer billing.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
Monitor financial discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
Conduct internal audits to strengthen financial controls and processes.
Coordinate with auditors for yearly audits and financial reviews.
Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursement accounts.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for improved efficiency.
Lead, train, and supervise junior accounting staff as needed.
Required Skills & Knowledge:Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books or similar).
Strong financial reporting and analysis skills.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Knowledge of reconciliation, MIS reporting, and audit processes.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.).
