Job Description

As an Accountant at Dap Automobiles, you will manage financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and deliver insightful reports to support strategic decision-making in the automotive sector. You will collaborate with finance leadership and cross?functional teams to maintain the company's financial well?being.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze financial statements--Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports--as part of monthly, quarterly, and annul closings. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, identify discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding balances. Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support business plans and cost control. Process GST, TDS, and other tax filings in compliance with local regulations. Support internal and external audits by maintaining financial documentation, analyzing variances, and resolving issues. Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, inventory) to align financial data and processes.
