Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee the financial operations of our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to e-commerce transactions. Reconcile payment gateways (Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe, etc.) and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). Monitor sales returns, refunds, chargebacks, and other deductions from various platforms. Work closely with the inventory and operations team to ensure accurate costing and stock valuation. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits. Ensure timely filing of returns and submissions to statutory authorities. Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for better accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CA Inter preferred). Minimum 8-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in an e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and financial regulations. Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP). Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
