Role Overview
We are looking for an
Accounts Manager
to oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance across our hostel operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in accounting and finance management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance across multiple properties.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and tax filings.
Coordinate with auditors and manage internal controls.
Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support management in financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
Supervise accounting staff and guide them in day-to-day tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA/ICWA/CPA preferred).
3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance management (preferably in hospitality, real estate, or multi-location operations).
Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Strong communication and team management skills.
