Account Manager (Bangalore)

in Givaudan's

Taste & Wellbeing Division

, you will take the lead in driving growth, profitability, and lasting customer partnerships. You will manage key strategic accounts, execute impactful account plans, and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that delight customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will protect our core business while uncovering new opportunities for sustainable success. You will directly report to the

Regional Sales Manager

and be based in

Bangalore, India

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:


Drive business growth across designated accounts by managing both revenue and profitability. Lead all Givaudan activities and initiatives for assigned customers to deliver business objectives. Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as their trusted and preferred partner. Develop, communicate, and execute Account Development Plans (ADPs), sales forecasts, and budgets with clearly defined KPIs. Manage the project brief pipeline, ensuring both volume and quality of projects to meet growth targets. Safeguard and expand base business across key markets and accounts. Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements within established guidelines, including credit terms, pricing structures, rebates, and other commercial parameters. Participate actively in customer presentations and joint project collaborations. Oversee the commercial project pipeline to ensure timely delivery and high-quality solutions aligned with customer needs.

Your professional profile includes:


Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field; an MBA is good-to-have. 8 years of relevant work experience in B2B sales, managing key accounts within flavours or ingredients industries. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic account plans, including budgeting and forecasting. Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer and competitor landscapes, and key profitability drivers. Solid insight into customer strategies, priorities, and launch processes, with the ability to position Givaudan's offerings effectively. Demonstrated expertise across all stages of account management, including brief handling and managing scale-ups. Proven success in identifying new business opportunities and addressing customer needs, with a good track record of building trusted relationships with key decision-makers. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Demonstrated project management capability, leading cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes.
