Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and record all financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
Preparing Financial Statements & Reporting:
Lead the preparation of balance sheets, income statements (P&L), cash flow statements, and
Management Information Systems (MIS) reports
. Ensure financial statements are compliant with accounting standards and laws.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead in creating comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against the budget to report and analyze variances.
Tax Preparation and Compliance:
Oversee the calculation and filing of all company taxes (including
Income Tax
,
GST/VAT
, etc.), ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. This includes:
GST filing and compliance.
TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
Income Tax working and related compliances.
Liaise with tax authorities and handle audits when required.
Payroll Processing:
Manage and oversee employee salaries, deductions, bonuses, and benefits, ensuring timely and accurate payroll payments.
Internal Controls and Auditing:
Establish, implement, and maintain rigorous internal financial controls. Support internal and external audits by providing required data and documentation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
Oversee the monitoring of incoming payments, manage follow-up on outstanding receivables, process outgoing payments, and ensure timely settlement of company dues.
Cash and Bank Management:
Supervise the reconciliation of bank statements with company records, monitor daily cash flow, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
Day-to-day Accounting & Finalization Support:
Provide support for all
day-to-day accounting activities
and finalization processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Financial Analysis & Procurement Coordination:
Analyze financial data and metrics to provide key insights for strategic decision-making and help management understand financial trends, performance, and risks.
Coordinate procurement-related documentation
and ensure adherence to financial policies.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations, ensuring the company complies with all relevant financial laws and rules.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control best practices.
