Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, including bills booking and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
Financial Management
Prepare and maintain cash flow statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss reports.
Support external and internal audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
VAT & Compliance
Perform VAT working, VAT filing, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities for timely submissions.
Payroll & Payments
Process payroll, handle payroll-related queries, and ensure accuracy in salary disbursements.
Initiate and process supplier and vendor payments.
Manage purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
Administrative & Ad-hoc Tasks
Perform general administrative and ad-hoc accounting tasks.
Respond to and action emails promptly.
Train and guide new employees on accounting procedures and provide process overviews.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 years of accounting experience in the UAE (hospitality/retail sector preferred).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Good understanding of payroll processing and payment initiation.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple companies and manage priorities effectively.
