The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting functions independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.
Prepare and review journal entries, trial balance, and financial statements.
Handle
GST, TDS, Income Tax
and other statutory compliances including returns, payments, and reconciliations.
Oversee vendor and customer account reconciliations.
Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with stores and purchase departments.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle audit requirements and liaise with internal/external auditors.
Manage payroll accounting and employee reimbursement processes.
Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
