Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated

Accounts Executive

with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our finance team in the

garment retail sector

. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in daily accounting operations, inventory reconciliation, and basic taxation relevant to retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (Sales, Purchases, Expenses, etc.) Handle accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash books Manage stock/inventory accounting and coordination with the store team Generate GST reports and assist in filing returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) Assist in payroll preparation and statutory compliance Prepare and maintain records of financial transactions Support senior accountants in preparing financial statements Coordinate with internal departments for data collection and verification Assist in audits and internal financial reviews

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the retail or garment industry Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting software Understanding of GST, TDS, and other taxation matters Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
