We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Executive to join our manufacturing unit in Kolkata and ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks).
Record purchases, sales, receipts, and payments accurately.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
2. Invoicing & Payment Management
Prepare sales invoices and purchase orders.
Follow up with clients and vendors for timely payments.
Manage GST invoices, e-way bills, and related documentation.
3. Bank & Cash Management
Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
Track and update daily cash flow.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in monthly/quarterly GST filings and TDS submissions.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Generate periodic financial reports for management.
Coordinate with auditors during audits.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients for account-related queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com).
2-4 years of experience in accounting.
Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime; knowledge of MS Excel & Word.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
