Key Responsibilities:
Conduct
strict and timely follow-ups with debtors
to ensure payment collection and maintain proper communication logs.
Maintain and organize
documentation related to import and export
, including coordination with banks and relevant departments.
Record
daily cash and bank transactions
in
Tally Prime
accurately and keep proper records of receipts and vouchers.
Prepare and send
official company letters, forms, and internal documents
as per daily office requirements.
Draft and send
emails
for general company documentation and correspondence with vendors, clients, and departments.
Write and draft
formal letters and professional communication
in English as required.
Create, update, and maintain
Excel sheets
for tracking payments, documentation logs, financial records, and summaries.
Generate and share
basic Excel reports
related to accounts, collections, and document status.
Coordinate with other departments and external parties like banks, transporters, and clearing agents when needed.
Support overall
accounting and administrative tasks
as assigned by the senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in
Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
.
1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a trading or export-import company.
Proficient in Tally Prime
and understanding of accounting entries, ledger management, and reconciliation.
Good knowledge of
basic accounting principles
and documentation.
Strong
English communication skills
, especially in drafting formal letters and emails.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
- including data entry, formatting, basic formulas, and report creation.
Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and handle routine tasks with responsibility.
Organized, punctual, and proactive with strong documentation and follow-up skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
export/import documentation processes
.
Understanding of
bank-related documentation and communication
for international trade.
Knowledge of
basic GST and statutory compliance
is a plus.
