Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company's financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Monitor and analyze general ledger transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Address audit findings and implement recommendations for process improvements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets. Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to support business operations and identify areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Provide insightful recommendations to improve financial performance.

Tax Compliance:

Work closely with the tax department to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures and systems. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information and resolve accounting-related issues.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting, and reporting. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
