The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, handling invoices, and supporting overall finance functions. The role includes coordination with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Invoicing & Billing
Generate customer invoices and ensure timely follow-up for payments.
Validate vendor invoices and ensure accurate entries in the accounting system.
Track outstanding payments and prepare ageing reports.
Taxation & Compliance
Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance.
Coordinate with auditors for monthly/quarterly/yearly audits.
Financial Support
Prepare MIS reports, cash-flow statements, and expense reports when required.
Support budgeting and cost control activities.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with procurement, sales, and HR teams for processing payments and payroll.
Manage communication with vendors, customers, and external agencies.
Skills & QualificationsEducation
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / Zoho Books / any accounting software.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards.
Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas).
