Role Overview - Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliations. The role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance and accounting, with opportunities to learn ERP-based processes and contribute to core financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system Manage accounts payable and receivable functions Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers regularly Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities Assist with preparation of financial reports Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on payment and billing issues Maintain organized and systematic documentation of all financial records
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on bookkeeping Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.) Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
