Role Overview:The Senior Account Executive will split their focus equally between:1. Driving new business and managing ON PURPOSE's media and marketing initiatives2. Client servicing, including relationship management, media outreach, and campaign executionThey will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction through effective campaign management and flawless execution. The role expects contributing to ON PURPOSE's growth by delivering exceptional service, taking full ownership of deliverables, and actively driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business & ON PURPOSE Media and Marketing (50%)- Support the development and execution of ON PURPOSE's marketing and communication strategy to enhance visibility and brand positioning- Collaborate on ON PURPOSE's marketing initiatives, including content creation and dissemination for thought-leadership articles, press releases and media outreach- Contribute to research, ideation, and preparation of proposals for new business opportunities- Actively participate in business development pitches and strengthen presentation and storytelling skillsClient Servicing & Media Relations (50%)Client Management (25%)- Build trusted relationships with clients, becoming their go-to partner for PR and media-related initiatives- Develop monthly and quarterly PR plans tailored to client business objectives, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of their industry and competitive landscape- Anticipate and resolve client challenges proactively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention- Plan, manage, and execute client events such as press conferences, media briefings, and regional/national interactions- Prepare high-quality documents, including client review reportsMedia Relations (25%)- Cultivate strong relationships with traditional and digital media to secure impactful coverage for clients- Actively pitch client stories to the media, ensuring alignment with client goals and audience interests- Monitor and analyze evolving media trends, sharing relevant insights and intelligence with clients- Provide ongoing reporting and measurement for campaigns, highlightingachievements and areas for improvementTime Allocation- New Business & ON PURPOSE Marketing: 50%- Client Servicing & Media Relations: 50%What You'll Need (must haves for the role) :- Master's degree preferred- 1-5 years of relevant experience- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with an eagerness to contribute to organisational growth- Strong client management and media relations skills, with a proven ability to deliver results- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize- Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressureWhat Would Be Nice to Have- Experience managing large account portfolios- Proven experience with concept development (ref:updazz.com)
