Responsible for managing and monitoring student fee collection, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely follow-ups on dues, and coordinating with parents and school administration to ensure smooth fee operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage
student fee collection
through cash, cheque, online payments, and bank transfers.
Maintain
accurate fee records
in the school ERP/accounting system.
Generate and issue
fee receipts
, invoices, and acknowledgements.
Track
outstanding dues
and prepare pending fee reports class-wise and student-wise.
Follow up with parents regarding
overdue fees
through calls, messages, and emails.
Reconcile
daily collections
with cash, bank statements, and online payment reports.
Coordinate with the administration team on
fee concessions, waivers, and refunds
after approvals.
Prepare
monthly and quarterly fee collection reports
for management review.
Ensure compliance with
school fee policies
and financial procedures.
Support audits by maintaining proper documentation and records.
Handle parent queries related to
fee structure, payments, and balances
professionally.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in
Commerce / Accounting / Finance
.
6 months-3 years of experience as an
Accountant
, preferably in a
school or educational institution
.
Hands-on experience in
fee collection and reconciliation
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel
, accounting software, and school ERP systems.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills (parent interaction).
Ability to maintain
confidential financial information
.
Preferred:
Experience working with
school ERP software
.
Knowledge of basic
GST and statutory compliance
(if applicable).
