The Hotel Account/Finance Executive is responsible for managing the hotel's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, compliance with hotel policies and procedures, and optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Supervise and train finance team members
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Account Associate in 5 Star luxury hotel such as Oberoi, Taj, Marriott, ITC, Hyatt, Hilton and likewise.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and hotel management systems
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
